High Carbon Steel Spring Wires

STEEL WIRES

Kromtel carbon steel wires are produced from finest wire rods. These wires are adequate for flattening use and will neither burst nor crack.

Carbon steel wires are mainly used for springs and mattresses, other than those mentioned it is also used for other woven applications; woven cage productions, CO2 welding wires, zig-zag spring wires, music wires and rope wires.

Our products comply with global standards and have quality certificates issued by institutions like ISO and TÜV.

  • Copper coated
  • Stereat coated
  • Matte surface

Kromtel Stainless steel wires for nuts, bolt screws and rivets are conforming the world standards for physical, chemical and mechanic properties and are the most appropriate wires for cold forming process.

Stainless Steel Spring Wires

All kinds of energies are converted to thermal energy at one point. You can reduce the thermal energy and keep it as potential energy. Stainless steel wires for spring applications have a broad range of usage such as automotive, construction, space, house appliances, food and pharmacy industries. Cold rolled steel spring wires that can be obtained: compression spring, extension spring, torsion spring, special form springs which require high surface tensile. For battery manufacturing purposes Ni coated (Ni-Br) wires are provided. Stainless steel wires for springs are provided on standard up to 0.80 mm with shiny surface and in different type of spools, all sizes above 0.20 mm and thicker are provided as coils with soap coating and nickel coating. Approximately more than 150 different sizes from 0.10 mm to 12 mm can be found in Kromtel stocks.

Stainless Steel Wire for Weaving and Braiding

Stainless steel wires can be used for various weaving methods and applications due to their mechanical properties, their aesthetic surface and the fact that it can conserve its shiny view for a long time, and does not deform at high temperatures.

You can find bright annealed soft finished stainless steel wires for braiding at Kromtel. Being soft, helps the braiding process, it’s shiny and clean surface gives it more endurance against corrosion.

K304 and K316 quality wires are the most commonly used wires for braiding. Especially K314 quality wires are resistant to repeating heating and cooling conditions. So we suggest them to be used for conveyor belts.

As in industrial furnaces, the conveyor belts that will be used in high temperatures must be produced from K310 and K314 quality wires. K314 quality wires have the ability to work in high temperatures up to 1200°C.

Stainless steel wires are used in chemical industry, oil industry, synthetic fiber production, paper production and the food sector. Also we can see that due to their resistance for high temperature they are used in conveyor belts.
