Stainless Steel Wire for Weaving and Braiding
Stainless steel wires can be used for various weaving methods and applications due to their mechanical properties, their aesthetic surface and the fact that it can conserve its shiny view for a long time, and does not deform at high temperatures.
You can find bright annealed soft finished stainless steel wires for braiding at Kromtel. Being soft, helps the braiding process, it’s shiny and clean surface gives it more endurance against corrosion.
K304 and K316 quality wires are the most commonly used wires for braiding. Especially K314 quality wires are resistant to repeating heating and cooling conditions. So we suggest them to be used for conveyor belts.
As in industrial furnaces, the conveyor belts that will be used in high temperatures must be produced from K310 and K314 quality wires. K314 quality wires have the ability to work in high temperatures up to 1200°C.
Stainless steel wires are used in chemical industry, oil industry, synthetic fiber production, paper production and the food sector. Also we can see that due to their resistance for high temperature they are used in conveyor belts.
