Stainless Steel Strip

Kromtel stainless steel strips have a broad range of use in the automobile industry, white goods industry, textile machinery, elevators, razors, knives, strip saws with spring raw material.

Kromtel can provide you with many different qualities such as AISI 301, AISI 304, AISI 304L, AISI 305, AISI 309/310/314, AISI 316, AISI 430, AISI 430F, AISI 420 and AISI 613 which can be delivered in various sizes and hardness. Also strips can be delivered with features such as edge cut, burred off and rounded. Those strips have an extra shiny surface due to the oiling process.

Kromtel also provides extra sensitive stainless steel material that is used for applications such as windshield wipers.

To choose the appropriate quality according to usage area and apply to material is very significant in stainless steel welding wires. Using the most appropriate welding quality and life alloy can be provided.

Stainless Steel TIG, MIG, underwater welding, gas metal arc welding wires and electrodes can be procured in all qualities, sizes, coils and quills as several type of packings and forms from Kromtel.

♦ Performance and Application Areas ♦
K308	It has strong junction and good resistance to crackage. It is suitable for K304 quality materials.
K308L	It has same performance with K308. It is suitable for K304L quality materials.
K308LSi	It provides more successful and easier welding opportunity than K308L. It is suitable for K304L materials.
K309	It has high level welding quality and success. It is used for K309 quality alloys and materials which are not same quality as Cr-Mo alloy steel, 13Cr-17Cr stainless steel alloys.
K309L	It shows same performance with K309. It should be preferred in low carbon stainless steels.
K309LSi	It is used in same materials with K3009L. It provides more successful and easier welding opportunity.
K310	Amount of Cr and Ni is high. It has excellent corrosion and thermal resistance. It is used in materials which are not same quality. This material has higher carbon than K309 and K309L.
K312	It is not suitable to use at high tempratures. It can be used in either materials with similar chemical composition or materials with dissimilar chemical composition.
K316	It provides strong junction and has high resistance to crackage. It is used in K316 quality stainless steel materials. Resistance to acid is high.
K316L	It has same performance with K316. Resistance to corrosion is higher. Resistance to corrosion is high in seawater and chemical environment.
K316LSi	Application areas are same with K316 and K316L. However, it provides more fluid and easier welding opportunity.
K347	The existance of element Nb in the composition increases intergranular corrosion resistance. It provides resistant welding opportunity against rupture at high tempratures.

Kromtel’s stainless steel ropes are generally used by various industries for a broad range of applications due to its high quality and construction variety.

K302 and K304 are the most common used ropes. K305 stainless steel ropes are anti-magnetic. K316 is used where high resistance against corrosion is needed.

Kromtel stainless steel ropes are mostly used by the automobile, the aviation and maritime industries, and by hobby, fishing, chemical and machinery industries more and more.

Due to its natural characteristics stainless steel is a reliable solution where elasticity and pulling, sliding and moving actions are required and used. The core of the rope is build up by two wires being twisted, and again by repeating this operation 7 to 19 times, the required rope is constructed. The more wires are used for twisting, the more the elasticity of the rope increases.

Rope parts and ropes; are named by (arms) x (wire per arm). For example: 1×19 means that 19 wires are wrapped around 1 arm. Those arms and ropes are suitable for suspension and tensile systems.
